Typing Trackers
Gross Speed.I chose my chart because I found it more clear and easy to read than others.
It is more important for me to have all the information available toghether, so I can compare and evaluate my performance in typing, and my improvement in a very accurate way.
This chart gives me information about the dates and the gross speed in a way I can graphically se my ups and downs.
Net Speed
I like the chart I selected for my Net Speed because it shows clearly a comparative performance and this way I can evaluate myself and define exactly when I have been slower and when my skills have been faster.
AccuracyI really enjoyed my Accuracy chart because it is different than my other charts but still clear. Furthermore, it has all the information I needed to have.

Winterbreak 2010-2011
At the begining of this vacations, my mom and I went to pick up my sister from Mexico city. Which was really nice because it had been a long timesince the last time I saw her. To start of with her visit, we set up the Christmas tree at my house, we did popcorn chains and decorated it very beautifully.
After almost one week of vacations, we went to Phenix for 3 days and did almost all Christmas shopping, it was very cold and dry. We got to see some friends of ours that we missed alot and came back. Even though it was a short visit, I enjoyed it alot.
I had a wonderful christmas with my family at my house, we cooked a wonderful turkey and I ate alot of it, it was great!. We did rally's for the presents, everyone hid their presents in places like the fridge and the washing machine, I hid one in the freezer and my sister, the person that was supposed to get te present, could not find it, we all laughed lots.
The day after Christmas, we went whale watching and we saw a Stingray that was abou 2.5 meters long. Jelly fish were everywhere so we could not go swiming with them, we had fun anyway
One of the nicest things abou my break, is that we moved to Nuevo Vallarta and I don't have to drive all the way from Chacala/Sayulita anymore, we spend about 4-5 whole days looking for haouse till we found the perfect one.

Speak movie, Melinda's Characterization

What differences do you see in Melinda's characterization in the book and movie?
I realized that Melinda seems to not be as close to Rachelle in the movie as she was in the book.
Ivy is not as important either, the only student that seems to be closer in the movie than in the book is David, her science partner. Melinda idolizes David so much because he speaks up for himself, something that she can't do. At one point of the movie, David tells melinda that she can not make a difference if she doesn't speak for herself.
I have also noticed, that the imgaes from the movie are very strong, powerful, and specific. They want it to be really clear for you that SHE WAS RAPED, and I think that they take away part of the rising action of the book by foreshadowing so much about the party.
Furthermore, I claim that it was good that most of her school knew how bad was Andy Evans.
Lastly, I didn't like the actress that they used to represent melinda in the movie "Speak" because I've seen her in other movies were she seems very beautiful, so she doesn't seem like they describe Melinda in the book, I was really disapointed.

In Computers class, we made a Mash-up using different sounds in Audacity. It was challenging for me to find a way to make the beat match and for it not to sound repetitive, it was also hard to learn how to use all the effects.
If I could change somehing I would look for more sounds and add them on to my song. I would also add some nice voices and instruments.
What I liked the most about my mash-up it's that it changes alot, like a rhapsody. Even though my Mash-up is not the best one, I enjoy listening to it because I know how much effort I put into it and I'm happy with what came out.
My favorite Mash-up was Reneta's, because it made me feel in a Zoo or a Rainforest, I think it was very original. I also liked Elenas, I think it had a great beat, but it is not my favorite one.
